jfmerge.exe hangs

Hi

When I print this form jfmerge.exe hangs.
Once I kill it it prints the document.
It also generate following error file.

But I have to kill jfmerge.exe otherwise it just hangs.

Plug In Folders in Adobe Exchange Packager

Hello,

I want to create a ZXP for easy install for customers.

I'm building Photoshop and After Effects Plug In's.

How can I configure Exchange Packager to target a sub folder in AE / Photoshop Plug In folder (Create it if it doesn't exist) and be compatible with the user OS and choice of installation folder?

 

I can see there are key folders for brushes, actions etc...

Is there $PlugIN ?

Exchange redesign

Hi all,

A redesign of theAdobe Exchange has been released. Thanks to all who have participated in discussions over the past many months reviewing comps, schematics, and beta versions. With this release we believe we have fixed the major inconveniences users have reported over the past months. Clearly there is more work to be done and we will continue to be in communication about where we can next take this experience.


Some release notes:


  • There are "empty" stars next to the existing (pre-May, 17) comments in the comments section of the item detail page. In the new version of the exchange we have the ability to show a rating next to comments in each commenters post. But since this data relationship did not exist in the prior version, all comments already in the system as of May 17, 2007 have a set of blank stars next to them (but dont worry; the rating each person submitted before is still in the system and goes into the current aggregate rating of the exchange item). In other words, no data is lost. We have just created a way to display ratings attached to comments for all subsequent comments.

  • Authors/contributors are listed inorange We did this to raise the visibility of contributors. Whenever you see an authors name, if you click it you will go to a page of exchange items uploaded by that author.

  • In some cases Exchange items have long URLs in the description. If the URLs are long enough they have the possibility of breaking the layout of the page. If you, as an author/contributor, see this happening in a exchange item that belongs to you, you can go edit that item to massage the text to fix the problem. If you need help please shout.

  • Please go ahead and note any bugs you find in this forum. We will be checking this regularly!



I hope this release allows your participation in this lively environment to be much more smooth. I look forward to hearing from you.

Help When I went to a cs3 workshop with Jack ?- he talked about a DR Browns stake a matic free download. I finally got cs3 (just so I could use that software- well maybe not JUST that- that would be stupid-) and now I cant find the download on Adobe exchange- can anyone tell me where to find it Thanks carol

Adobe Exchange License Agreement

Sorry if this has been discussed before but since this terrible forum with it's unusable "search" functionality wasted a minute of my time already, I gave up on search.

 

 

The license agreement (on the upload page after clicking the button on the provided link) says:

 

You hereby grant to Adobe a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free and worldwide license to use, test, copy, publicly display, publicly perform or demonstrate the Submission (and any graphics or snapshots of the Submission or any part thereof), and, as designated as part of your Submission: (a) distribute, license, and sublicense the Submission, or (b) place a link to a website in connection with the Submission.

So basically Adobe owns anything you upload, including "commercial" stuff like Adobe Flex custom components you might be selling, and so on?  So it seems to me that (in this example) anything you upload could suddenly end up in the next version of the Flex SDK with not even an poorly written, automated "thanks" email sent to the contributor?

 

Is this about right?  Just curious..

Dreamweaver Exchange Approval: Adobe Reviewer Has a Question for Me? Send it my Way Pls!!

I was just denied a Dreamweaver exchange item that was already approved. I just updated title and cleaned up the description. Afterward the status said that I have to answer a question from the adobe reviewer. However I received no email from Adobe. And have no idea what add'l info they need or want!

Also, I have 2 items pending in the AE exchange and 3 in the Photoshop exchange for over 25 days. How often are items  in those exchanges reviewed by Adobe?

I see people are having this problem as well as myself. I have 9.0.2 version and I saw an update for it and wonder if it updates the 9.0.2 or is having 9.0.2 the update? if anyone has found a solution to this problem I would love to know it.

Help downloading and installing font styles from the exchange

Hi,
I have gotten a couple of free font styles here from the exchange.
They have the .ai extention. for example one is called "embossed_screwed_metal.ai"
Do I install that in Illustator CS2's font folder or where?

In the exchange item under Additional Information, there is a field called Author website. I could not find a place where I could set this.

Does anyone have an idea how this field is set?

Its been something like 3 years since I last uploaded to the exchange and I'm just wondering other than the obvious change to the website is there anything I should know to be different?
I've added my new brush set to the system already and it sounds like I have a long wait. I've uploaded them to DeviantArt already though, is that okay?

I noticed Hatch has risen in level which is super! Well done! I wonder if anybody else I knew in 2004 is still around? Shelly maybe?

Anyway, hello everybody. Please let me know of any rules you think I should be aware of.

So is Freeware REALLY free to use, modify and publish?

I am aldo a little confused about so many license types here.

 

Btw, I dl Flags.ai, but when I open the file in Illustrator 14.0.0, I cant see a thing. I also try to solve this myself, because it is my job anyway

Exchange a version of Photoshop CS5

Hello everyone,

 

I was wondering if anyone can help me with a small dilemma I got myself into. I'm currently in college studying graphic design and I went to a retail store to purchase the student edition of Photoshop CS5 to work on my projects and enhance my skills, etc. After I got home and opened up the box and applied for the eligibility from Adobe, I had noticed that I had accidentally purchased the wrong version of Photoshop. I had purchased the MAC version instead of the Windows/PC version.

 

Now, I'm planning on taking this software back to where I purchased it to try and exchange it for the right version. I had not installed it or done anything to it, besides the eligibility. But I have to know, what can I do to cancel out that first eligibility from Adobe? Better yet, is there any way Adobe can help me exchange the MAC version for the PC version? This is my first time on here and Im very confused.

 

Any help will be appreciated. Thank You.

Is it possible to exchange Mac CS 5.5 with Pc?

Allright so awhile ago I was set on buying a Mac. I went out to Apple.com and bought Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium Student and Teacher edition because I am in college. However due to lack of funds it sat there for a almost half a year. I then decided to build my own computer but it is Windows based. Is it possible to exchange this product after the amount of time that has passed? I can't return the product because it has definately been longert than the 14 day return limit. I no longer have the reciept either. Am I just out of luck? Or is there some other option? Am I even in the right topic area?

Adobe Exchange Manager stalls after installing update

http://forums.adobe.com/message/5730540#5730540  I reference this post because my situation is similar.  I wanted to install an extension to DW and I was prompted to update the Exchange Manager, which I did.  The message I got was that the Exchange Manager update was successfully installed, But when I click on the exchange manager in DW, or when I click on it from Windows Explorer, the message comes up "loading extensions" along with a progress bar that gets to the 75% mark and then just hangs.  The only way to get out of it is with the Task Manager.

 

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with windows 7 professional running CS6. 

 

I feel extremely frustated.  I've never had things totally non-functional in my previous creative suites.  This hangup makes it impossible to download any extensions for Adobe products.  In order to download the free trial of the extension I wanted, I had to download Windows Expression Web 4 and run the Expression Web version of the extension, and bring the resulting feature into DW.  Unfortunately, Expression Web and DW don't do things exactly the same way, so I'm not getting the benefit of being able to work with the extension in DW.

 

Given how much Creative Suite costs, this should not be happening.  I'm not that technically savvy, so I need help with this.

I was able to download the Extension manager app, go from page to page on your site, find the forums, but the Exchange app says that I'm  "not connected to the internet" I have a very good connection. Whassup with that? I'm using a Mac Pro, 32GB Ram, 3.2 GHz QuadCore Intel Xeon, Photoshop CS6. Thanks in Advance!

Cannot edit info about my upload?

The info is three years old and needs updating. Must I trash all and reupload?

In 'My Account' I am told that I have no uploads, when I actually do have two. I suppose my problems are connected to the site revamp a while back. What is the fix?

Help requested: Missing CC extension purchased in CS6

I licensed an extension on May 18, 2013 (Double USM) through Adobe Exchange.  Even though the vendor has upgraded his software to work with CC, it doesn't show up under "My Stuff".

 

I shouldn't have to purchase it again —  this should be in a database linked to my account (somewhere on Adobe's systems, I imagine).

 

How can I get this fixed?  To whom should I send a copy of the order?
